Jennifer talks about daylilies. She demonstrates how to dig up, split, and replant a daylily. She also has some ideas for companion plantings.
Daylilies love sunlight, and are tolerant of poorer soils. They are hardy, beautiful, and can be split every 3 or 4 years to provide new plants. We love them in our garden, and when they come into full bloom, we will be sure to show you!
Very nice! Thank you!

Thank you for posting this! Very helpful! I am a beginner learning the basics with an established (but for some years a apparently neglected) old-fashioned perennial garden. The day lilies, irises, daisies and other things are smothering one another.
