Um, wrong, DDR2 can run up ~1200 mhz. and DDR3 can run any speed of DDR2.

DDR3 runs at a much higher speed: I'm pretty sure that ddr2 runs at 800mhz and ddr3 runs at 1066mhz. Much faster :)
