A Celebration of Budo. This video commemorates my 30 years of training in the Martial Arts and 15 years of teaching. I highlight numerous Budo disciplines including Iaido (art of drawing the Japanese Sword), Goju Ryu Karate, Okinawan Kobudo & Tameshigiri (the art of cutting with a sword)

Shin ki tae itto, Mind, Spirit & Body as One.

Celebrate Life.

The video was shot in Toronto near my house and on my roof. Videography by Contributing Producers Alex Chung & Leland Tilden. Editing by Techboy.

  • hello . good job! i thing your cut is very good ! but for me ( sorry i don't want hurt you ) your iai have a lake of precision. how many time do you practice all the diferent discipline ? thank you

  • @kebratsion

Thanks for the comment. As with all Budo, one practices to hone skills over a long period of time. I continue to practice and improve my sword work.

  • haha, designer pants with a Katana on the side? There's something new. Nothing negative, i know you're showing the "urban Samurai." :P

Time changes and people have to realize that. Civilization moves forward even if some groups or populations don't want it to, and the Samurai were a group that was left behind with the moving forward of civilization.

  • @350drifting

Indeed they were. I must say, I was surprised by how many people seemed to be offended by the sunglasses and my outfit. Curious. As you mention, many people dont like change or they like to complain if people dont do things they way they think it should be done.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed making the video
