I consider myself a big movie buff, i bought this one out of the 99cent bin at the thrift shop and i figured "Hey, its has john favreau in it, it couldnt be that bad"....This movie is by far the worst directed, worst acted, worst plot, worst soundtrack and is just plain weird. You were my hero John!! Remember when the old lady asked you to "Blow me where the pampers is?" THAT WAS CLASSIC SHIT!! but this movie is just **sigh**dissapointing........

Thanks for the well-written notes on El Cortez! Laugh Out Loud! I stayed in a bad hotel in Mexico, near a bus station so many of the rooms were rented by-the-hour(grrrross!), the had no key for my room, just a screwdriver to pick the lock. I had to use a chair to secure the door for the night. Next door, a couple sounded like they were killing each other. That's what I got for a $6/night hotel room.

said motel rules!!! it's like el cortez in vegas, prior to the remodel! meister brau in a can (like there's any other way to serve m.b.), the heady aroma of a porn theater (comin' off a fresh cleaning) and the beauty of watching, from the comfort of fremont street, as discount hookers entertain their johns in front of second floor room windows! sheer paradise, baby! sheer paradise!
