C'est Magnifique Animatic

Another blast from our past - "C'est Magnifique" was Liz's senior year thesis animation... As you can see it remains only partially animated, because her boyfriend at the time cajoled her into helping him color Volume 2 of some comic instead of doing her homework. It turned out awesome, so the boyfriend married her to seal the deal, and since then we've been pretty busy with Dreamkeepers together.




We figured it would be more fun to post this than for it to never see the light of day, so here you are - some fun college animation / animatic work from Liz.

@wisemage0 Are we furries? ...Depends on your definition of furry, but sure, why not. E ) We go to conventions, and make a comic with furry characters. Being furry sounds more fun than the alternative.

Quite lovely. This reminds me of some of the scenes from 1950s movie musicals - the sort of elegant song-and-dance number Debbie Reynolds or Judy Garland might have done. Thank you for posting this here.

for some reason i cant stop watching this. i got to say this in my opinion is really great. I just got to say if you ever get the time, finish this. i would love to watch a finish version of this. And the way you guys do the comics it would be even better to watch.

Here is a bit of constructive criticism: the sketches are so much better than the final result turns out. The final stages of drawing must be improved.
