@speshalsauz No idea. May have been Hall's guys filming this, but I haven't seen it up on youtube or anywhere else. I was at this tournament (Bud Cup 2008.)

@aomasakid Ryan wouldn't have finished the hook. Cobrinha and Mendes both have rubber feet. If you look at the toehold and heel hook exchanges from both during their ADCC match, their faces looked as chill as if they were doing warmup stretches, all in a situation that would send most people to surgery. Cant explain it. I do know that Cobrinha doesn't have an ACL in one of his knees. His supporting tendons are so strong that he is fine without it.

hm looks like ryan could've finished that heel hook if he cranked with more aggression but he probably knew cobrinha would have too much ego to tap and who wants to be known as the dick who broke cobrinha's leg? even if you get the win, the whole bjj community would hate on u...

How does ryan hall ALWAYS get into that 50/50 guard?? Thats the one position you want to avoid against him.

@myfavxmanisgambit I know it is crazy, ryan can play around with normal black belts, and marcelo can play around with him. Ryan is still a few steps below the elite, but he will get their, he is still very young and getting better all the time.

Cobrinha= one of the best ever,ryan is very good but i think there on diff levels.
