I think I kinda have the same thoughts as you when you say nothing is immortal, but I wouldn't be surprised if millions and billions of years from now that science has found a way to stop the death of the universe.
Excellent video! Aging is a horrible disease, and should be treated as such, not denied (via fantasies of heaven or reincarnation), glorified, or trivialized. Rationally and morally this is a non-issue: just do it!
Death is finite, and it is our choice in what way it is finite: either by all of us becoming extinct, or by literally killing death itself by means of scientific research. I say we logical thinkers should get off our asses and do some research. And anyone who complains, stating that "the earth will get overpopulated," well, time to use your brain! Shut up and look to the skies for other inhabitable planets, or ways of building inhabitable stations on other planets, or even on our own moon...
Do you know what was before the Big Bang? Do you know for sure, that there aren't worm-holes to the parallel universes? Refuse to cure aging because of second law, is similar to refuse to cure, say, appendicitis or swine flu for the same reason.
Immortality should be mankind's number one goal. Or, a goal in order to give people the choice to live longer, at least. One might not want to live forever, but maybe adding a couple hundred years would still be nice anyway. In 40 years or so, we may be able to use nanobots to replace each cell in our body/brain. Or at least help heal problems, and ensure we stay young. Or maybe even transfer our consciousness into computers. These are things we should be trying to achieve. ASAP.

Ask me in a thousand years.
Terry pratchett.
Its only a matter of time before we realize that the world is being held up by a gargantuan turtle, or whatever it is.
Please shut up or at least critique your sources, terry pratchett was a immensly entertaining and funny author, dont make him more than he was.
