Episode 4: "FDR: 3rd Term to Pearl Harbor", final part + credits

This is a really epic documentary series released in 1983 by Cronkite's Broadcast Studio (you know which one). This particular episode deals with President Roosevelt's reelection to an unprecedented 3rd term against Republican challenger Wendell Willkie. Also briefly discussed are the isolationist movement, Lend-Lease, and diplomatic interchanges between the US and Japan in the month preceding Pearl Harbor.

My collection of this series is all on Beta tapes apparently once purchased by my parents.

The tapes are not numbered in any way, and the episodes deal with individual topics rather than going in chronological order, so I'll do my best to upload them in some sort of sensible sequence. It may, however, take quite some time to upload them all.

Roosevelt talked about America not going to war unless the western hemisphere was attacked yet Canada had been fighting Germany since 1939. Go figure.
