  • how much would this cage cost? and would a hamster cage work for a hedgehog?

  • Im not sure of the cost, because they were given to me, but Im guess probably something like 100 bucks in Canada and around 60 in the US. And no, a hamster cage would not work for hedgehog.

  • y not?

  • they are way too small.

  • wait, i saw one that as like 1 1/2 ft by 1ft

  • that is still too small, you should have at least 1x2 for a baby and 1x3 for an adult.

  • Both wheels iare horrible for a hedgehog because their feet can get stuck in the between the metal bars. I think you should add a couple more toys into both cages too. What type of bedding is that? Most beddings except Aspen and sometimes Carefresh are bad for them. I could easily see a hedgehog getting out of those cages. I would reccomend switching to a bigger higher walled cage.

  • This video makes me kind of sick.

  • Get a fuckin' flying saucer wheel or a Carolina storm wheel!! They are silent and the best wheels I've had for hedgehogs!! Wire/mesh wheels are bad and the hedgehog can trap there feet and cause an injury!

Feel sorry for those hedgehogs hedgehogs and there feet!

  • Serves your right for buying such a dangerous wheel.

  • he can climb out

  • just build a huge c&c cage

  • not hating or advertising but those wheels do suck i have a wheel for my hedgie and it is completely silent... its called a california storm wheel i think. and its like 30 us dollars. all you hear is the pitter patter of their little feet

  • Oh thankyou for your concern I did not realize that she said she was useing pine and the toys I use for my hedgie are cat balls with a bell. If you go to hedgie care and go to the 6 page you will find my videos please tell me what you think I'll take your advice:)

  • @exoticpet2000 In her other video about the care for hedgehogs she said she used pine. And I was just warning about not listening to what she said to use xD I didn't mean to sound like you did exactly what she said. But from several other people I've talked too about hedgehogs they say those toys are bad for them.

  • @Killer9White9Wolf I don't have the exact same cage I have 30 gallon glass tank and they arent bad toys or bedding Its ASPEN thats the bedding you use not pine or cider mabey with the wheel but mine was made for my hedgie watch my video but thank you for your notice:)

  • @exoticpet2000 Her care video's aren't that well and a lot of the stuff she uses are bad for her hedgies. Like the wire wheel and bedding and those little balls for ferrets she has are bad. Their toes can get caught in the holes and and in the wires on the wheel and break off.
