  • I can't imagine all the programming he had to endure, especially back then. Besides the great music, programming all those modules requires a talent that most people don't recognize.

  • I cannot understand why this comment has been rated negative...

Obviously the one who did it has no idea how much work is hidden behind the programmings for such a great performance.

christopher6373,i totally agree 100% with your comment.

The best music ever has been written in the 80s,Howard is one part of it...

  • @ppdan The delay is programmed into the Jupiter 8, the synth he's playing the melody line on.

  • at 1:36 is he playing the melody with one hand and the delay with the other hand or is the delay programmed?

  • I had the pleasure to see Howard in Belgium (at the Cirque Royal in Brussels) I think it was in 1984 or 1985. I knew all his songs by heart. Wonderful! He has always been my favourite singer! And my favourite group is Tears for Fears.. Howard, when do you intend to come back to Belgium? I'm waiting for you!

  • 2 people need to replace the batteries in their hearing aid.

  • Hier wäre ich gern dabeigewesen, schade nicht wieder zu erleben...

  • @chrigu70 i totally agree. im 25 and i also believe all the best and most unique music came from the 80's. and right round 1:32-1:140 he does so much sh*t to have the ability to mulitiply think about that while everything is going on and have the musical coordination is very remarkable. i almost wonder if he has manic bipolar disorder.

  • Howard Jones. The anti-Johnny Rotten.

  • who

  • What a freaking master!!! I think his lyrics had a hidden meaning: Don't be fooled by what you see (his looks) and don't be fooled by what you hear (synth pop). At least that is one of the messages I got from this song. Be the best you can be.

  • I never realised he was such an amazing keyboardist and performer.
