  • If it wasn't for Charlie Wilson vocal style, R.Kelly and Aaron Hall would not sing the way they sing right now. And that's the truth and my opinion. Charlie Wilson, one of a kind indeed.

  • takes you back doesn't it

  • VERY NICE

  • @baxstar -Compare "Johnny Guitar Watson" to Charlie Wilson. "Watson recorded throughout the 1950s and 1960s with some success. His raunchy reinvention in the 1970s with disco and funk overtones, saw Watson have hits with "Ain't That a Bitch", "I Need It" and "Superman Lover". His successful recording career spanned forty years, with his biggest hit being the 1977 "A Real Mother For Ya."-Wikipedia

  • @johnnnyfox

    R. Kelly was probably influenced a lil more by Marvin Sease, Marvin Gaye, Clarence Carter, and Ron Isley...

  • Oh my word, i had this at my 21st party all those years ago. we did the floor slapping thing going on. what fun!

  • end 70's and begin 80"s the best music

  • @baxstar i agree with you i think 80s is best the music .

  • blackpool 1981 what a year...

  • @gearronvinson i agree. I don't know what happened. Music of today is straight crap. That's why i always forever listen to old school.

  • @baxstar Very true the artist of the 60's influenced the artist of the 70's and the artist of the 70's influenced the artist of the 80's and the artist of the 80's influenced the artist of the 90's and that is where it stopped for some reason. This new generation has dropped the ball unfotunately. I do not see any legends so far that started a music career after 1999 whether it be R&B or Hip Hop and the whole boy and girl group died all together.

  • Sounds alittle like Pfunk.....
