One of my old Rainbow mids went out for some reason and i needed a solution - RF saw what i needed and did the unthinkable...they made a special pair just for me!! Now that is customer service!! To add to the story, the "1 of 1" set they sent me needed to be trimmed and ground on to get them to fit in the original A pillars (made by Ray at Audio Innovations, Fresno, CA). The New RF mids didnt look right after i modded them so Rockford offered me the services of RTTI to RE-Mold my A pillars to properly fit the new 4's. RTTI is the best of the best so only a dumbass would say no! Anyway watch the vid and see how they came out! Thanks to Rockford Fosgate and my boys at RTTI for the SWEET mids and A pillar RE-Do!!! I love them, they sound GREAT!!!!

  • Steve, From the looks of the vid you installed the tweeters wrong, did you have to take them out and put them in the right way ?

  • @jpagan123456789 were you drunk or high on crack when you typed this? LOL

  • @meade916 Uhh no lol, I have the same tweets with the dual clamping system that RF came up with. the larger cup goes behind your baffle anc the smaller one sits on the front of the baffle. Then you use the screw to pull the two cups together until they are tight . Thats how I did mine, just like the manual said. So idk man.

  • @jpagan123456789 i know how they go i have 12 of them in this car. The A pillars cant be mounted the normal way so they are done a different way. They hold fine for the amount of bass in my ride. Thanks anyway.

  • @meade916 jpagan123456789 is right steve, it doesnt look correct.. i have the same tweeters as well.. with the dual clamping system

  • @BeAILsTaR13 listen. These are not mounted like my door tweeters are. The clamp CANT be mounted to the back due to the design of the A pillar. They are mounted a different way. There is no right or wrong as long as what you did worked LOL. I have just a few more of these in my ride then you guys i think i know how to install them but thanks anyway!
