Last week the first same-sex couples in the District applied for legal marriage licenses on Tuesday, March 9, they were able to legally sanction their relationships. In a morning ceremony at the Human Rights Campaign Equality Center, organized by the Campaign for All D.C. Families, three couples said their vows and devoted their lives to each other as legal spouses.

Its nice too see more same sex couples get married...especially black couples...its not often that you see images of black gay and lesbian couples on national t.v....maybe this will help the visibility of black LGBTs in the black and LGBT community.
