  • I am Venezuela-American. And I do believe this is AWESOME. I am in awe...thank guys!!!!

  • A-RRE-CHI-SI-MO. BRAVO POR ESE TRABAJO Y DEJEN LA HABLADERA QUE SEA COMO SEA, ES NUETRA OBRA, NUESTRO OTILIO Y NUESTRA CULTURA EN EL MUNDO. ADELANTE CHICOS...

  • @luoboeguy Anyway, this performance doesn't have anything to do with the lyrics. Was it that hard to investigate what the heck is the song about?... This looks like an opera scene.

  • @pereztcarlos I think since this is an American college choir performing in tuxedos in Oklahoma city we can safely say authenticity was not the goal.

  • Yvonne Farrow is the choralographer of this work and owns the copyright to the movement. Anyone wishing to perform this choralography should contact her at choralographer@aol.com.

  • I think you guys made a great work.

But, sorry, you should have investigated a bit more about Venezuelan popular music... this version its just ridiculous.

Sorry guys, but I'm a Venezuelan, and I felt offended after watching this video. "La Restinga" is a "gaita", and I've heard before Maestro Grau's arrangement, and definitely, IT'S NOT a tarantela (or whatever you made above).

  • This is ridiculous its so amazingly good!!!!!

  • AMAZING! I am so proud to have ever been a part of this group. (Class of 2000)What an impressive performance.

  • Congratulations, this is a great version of a really difficult piece, I know by experience, also the Cajon gives a special touch.

    Bravo!
