@TheChambers82 he wasa my hero but to say hes the best striker ever is to much hype, he was not even the best of his era as a center foward number 9 he was but the best striker in his own era was ronaldo, also before there was others like van basten,pele ect

Aside from being an incredible athlete, Shearer was also a just a great bloke and an absolute role model. He was someone I looked up to as a teenager, and I'll be telling my kids all about him one day.
