They were obviously influenced by New Order to the point of ripping off this song for their sound, but to cover it in this way and ruin it is ridiculous. They've totally ruined this song, fucking canadian wankers...

Honestly I really like the version they did at Rock en Seine of this song. It basically just doesn't have the god awful claps, and way better sound. You might be surprised how much the claps make it sound like utter shit

I really like Arcade Fire in general but their covers are consistently horrendous. Between this and Magnetic Fields' "Born on a Train" cover, I don't know which is worse...
