I have 57 books in the past 2 years. I have not met my goals but I have done my best. I love to read and a read plenty of science, history and non mormon books. You made it sound as though mormons are not an educated people. Obtaining secular education is a commandment from the Lord. Whatever Intelligence we obtain in this life will carry on with us in the life to come. You should look up BYU's curriculum and credentials. As for your opinion on the mormon way, well...thats just your opinion.

Do you have any proof that the video you're referencing is untrue an any way? If you have some valid points, you should discuss them. Otherwise all you're saying is words that don't mean anything. Unless there's proof or at least some semblance of proof, how can you defend it? I was born and raised in Utah as an LDS member. No matter how much I tried, I never got a testimony of the Church's truth because there were too many doctrinal contradictions. Not trying to start a fight, just a discussion

I don't argue religion, not because i can't but because i have found it brings a bad spirit. All I say is why can't we as a people allow others to believe what they want. I don't tear down or talk down other religions. I see things differently than you. That's okay. What I don't like is people making false accusations and twisting words for negative results. The LDS church has make great contributions to religion and the world. I have found mormonism to be the most correct religion on earth.

It's been my experience that the majority of guys that go on missions do it because they feel pressure to do so. And for those that don't feel pressure, The majority of those guys do it because there's no question in their mind about going or not going because a mission is used as blackmail. If you don't go on a mission, you don't receive blessings from God, you don't enter the Temple, you aren't accepted in LDS society anymore.

A mission isn't truly a free decision for most.

I'm glad for you that you are happy with your life and religion. Maybe you should read more science and non-mormon books and be even happier about that knowledge. Religion should be a personal matter and not done the LDS mormon insisting way going on about JS, BoM and true church on earth but accepting that some people will never believe that maybe because it is as fantastic as other religious stuff? Have you ever thought of that? Most people can identify well what's incorrect on YouTube.
