  • I think this is the best version that I found from you tube. It's So strong and powerfull. It brings misery and happines at the same time. And very good sound quality with vhs(?). Good to hear those cellos too, very well balanced (or what ever is right term for that) :)

  • Played in Star Trek: The Next Generation, episode 'Sarek' as part of... a Mozart-recital... !! It's hard to be a Trekkie and a lover of classical music at the same time. ;-)

  • The jump-cut at the beginning is ace

  • Bravi! E la musica è bellissima (chi ha visto il film di Malle?)

  • @BorisGodunov LOL. nice ID, by the way

  • @sondano Most people don't know Mozart from Mahler.

  • @sondano You are well informed with music, However not everyone is as adept with music as you or myself. This is a wonderful peice of music and infact once you view the STNG episode yes it was said the concert was to be Mozart. Those that do not know Classical music well would assume it is Mozart by proxi according to the writers of the episode. Please give a little latitude to the less adept and allow the questions to flow. Learning is a Human experience. Music is Universal.

  • @GerardDeDuivel no they started with Mozart so it's OK. They didn't say they would only play Mozart. BTW noone not even those ignorant about classical music would confuse this with a Mozart piece

  • @montystar Nope, there is a much better one, on the right side, it shows up with a painting, 12th one down.

  • What a stunning piece, an incredible tour de force. I've never been a huge Brahms fan, but I keep being drawn back to this movement.

  • Beautiful playing -- with great feeling. Thanks for uploading this.
