Timelapse of a dying supercell thunderstorm as it approached an area north of Crawford, Nebraska. Video is a bit shaky at times, but I did not have a tripod with me and used my friends car and a frisbee to hold it up while the storm was passing through This storm had a tornado warning on it in Wyoming and as it approached the Nebraska border. Radar (GRLevel3) indicated up to 3.75 inch hail with this storm at several points, and there was extremely strong rotation in the storm. By the time it had gotten north of Crawford, it had significantly weakened, but still had amazing structure. I believe what I captured here was the storm's meso becoming outflow dominant... you can still see the rotation of the meso with the timelapse, and it appears there may be some sort of shelf cloud or roll cloud at the surface where the outflow is occuring.
Additionally, between the 28 and 45 second mark, you can make out what appears to be kelvin helmholtz waves in the meso.
