St. Marys National Historic District, Welcome Center, Waterfront and Pier, Cumberland Ferry
The National Historic District, recognized in 1976, has more than 30 buildings and an old cemetery. Bounded by Alexander and Norris streets, Waterfront Road, and Oak Grove Cemetery, the history lover will find much of interest in the nineteenth and early twentieth century homes located here. Of special interest is the beautiful Orange Hall, built in 1829, which houses the St. Marys Welcome Center. Historic site tours begin at Orange Hall. Across the street is the graceful First Presbyterian Church, built in 1808. Start your tours from the St. Marys Welcome Center. On the waterfront are the St. Marys Pavilion, Fishing Dock, and Boat Ramp, as well as the National Park Service building and dock where nature lovers book trips on the Cumberland Queen to Cumberland Island. Fishing and crabbing is allowed from the pier.

@BigJT2010 It is true. I have always loved palms since my childhood and I actually have a palm nursery and I ship my home grown palms world wide. By the way, I live on the west coast of Canada.. There are a lot of palms where I live.

@BananaJSSI to each his own but i cant stand them. ive planted many euro fan palms and queen palms working landscaping and they all just seem to need too much attention. and there are so many little palms in camden county you can find certain areas its just acres of nothing but palms. they can make a simple hunting trip or stroll through the woods a full body workout ha

@BigJT2010 I don't like sand gnats and I really dislike high humidity, but I do love Palm Trees. Our son lives near Brownsville, Texas and it gets pretty hot & humid down there as well.
