  • If you rendered to uncompressed AVI it will be a huge file. Try rendering to MP4, or if using in another project and not wanting to lose any quality, try Lagarith or DNxHD (both free).

    :)

  • This is one of the most impressive Vegas tutorials I have viewed. BTW it exactly answered my question and solved a major problem for a video I am producing.

Most impressive was the use of 720p, and the software you use that highlights the mouse cursor, and allows the view to be zoomed so that one can clearly see the details of what is going on. Might I ask what software you use?

I also loved the "Jeopardy Theme" in the middle!

    thanks again,

    Steve

  • @stevecrye

thanks for the kind words Steve.

the capture software is Camtasia, the zoom ins are just done in Vegas though, I capture in 1080p so you have a bit of zoom room b4 it pixelates.

    cheers

  • Incredible. One of the best tutorials I've ever seen. Thanks for making this. Do you think it's possible to do the Superman Title effects in Vegas?

  • just one problem. if i render the clip and i play the clip in windows it laggs like hell. any solution or fix for this?

  • thanks man :D i was searching for this :D i didn't want to use other programs then vegas and this is the best solution :D

  • great tutorial

  • thx

  • awesome

  • You are very welcome! My project will be to produce a title text for a video, 3D, using the effects you showed us. But, I want to do each letter in the word individually, initially lined up in a normal fashion - then have the letters explode at the viewer (as if they were blown by an explosion deep in the monitor). While they fly at the viewer, I will spin them, and try to achieve an accelerated effect with judicious use of a few keyframes. OK, I'm out of here and off to the Vegas races!
