the cage must be at least 90 cm with divisor. the couple must be together from december to the begining of april , but devided with the divisor. after that you put the nest to the femail and see her movements against the male goldfinch. if they are positive, meaning atracting male when he sings with puting the arms down so you have to remove the divisor and its all done.

hey liked da vid im a canary breeder and i made about 200 babies with just 20 couples last year and im not a goldfinch breeder but have a goldfinch with a beuatiful color for 5 or 6 years and sings so beutifun u would never believe so just waned to no if you no how big does the cage have to be to breed with a goldfinch couple and if u want im gonna post a vid soon and im gonna show the goldfinch dat i was talking about in the vid

Hi, was wondering if there is a particular time around which you would put the goldfinch with the canary in other words is there a breeding season to breed a goldfinch with a canary or could it just be any time of year?

How long after the Hen starts gathering material before she builds a nest?

My Hen has been gathering bits of string, burlap and grass but flies around with them only to perch then drop it. Is that normal?

I am trying to breed a Goldfinch X Canary Mule. ATM they are both paired together and have been awhile.
