Even the Led Zep cover bands don't nail it like this (dig that guitar tone)! The Johnsons, Soul of the 70s, live at Schoonerville, Sunland, CA. This was the band's final "official" show before Rob moved to Virginia. Recorded on July 11, 1998.

The Johnsons are: Janel Romero Boose (vox), Rob Schilling (guitar), Victor Mena (bass), Jeff Beckman (drums), and Butch Magnum (percussion).

  • how the hell did u get that tone?

  • @shellnutj Thanks for the comment. I used a Digitec Valve FX processor going through two vintage Princeton Reverbs running in stereo.Too many settings to list here, but it was certainly fun dialing in that tone!
