Does anyone have the 1990 theme to this show?

I was always wondering what the title of the original
theme music of "To Tell The Truth"was or..who wrote it?
Now..I know!

Actually, not such a stroke of genius. In the final year of the Bud Collyer version of "To Tell The Truth," the audience voted electronically as well.
You may see evidence of this on Tube, in an episode substitute-hosted (because Collyer was ill) by show co-producer Mark Goodson, if it's still uploaded.
If not, and you send me a private message, I can arrange to have it sent to you, or displayed on a video hosting website (because the file's too large to e-mail)..

$25K Pyramid replaces Press Your Luck. $100K Pyramid replaces Card Sharks.

A classic is being replaced but luckly the classic Password will take its place. BTW $25,000 and $100,000 Pyramid return to the line up on March 30.

Actually, it looks as if they're taking this show off the schedule, both this and the O'Hurley version.
Better catch it tonight and tomorrow (3/28 and 3/29) before it's gone!
But don't fret; the original Password will take it's timeslot.

Thank you so much for posting this! I grew up watching "To Tell the Truth" on Monday nights at 7:30 when they already had the new theme. It was fun to listen to the whole thing. I always rather enjoyed the "reveal" music on the second version, where they raised the curtain and showed the contestants in shadow. Always felt more fun than the original version. Maybe the original theme with the second version "reveal" music? Thank you again for posting this and the 1960's version. Enjoyed it!

It goes much faster when it's on GSN that also GSNs autio speed ups in action.
There is one odd thing about this earliest version of TTTT -- if you'll notice on the set, the upraised hand DOES NOT HAVE CROSSED FINGERS. It's still a lot of fun to watch and see the evolution of one of the classics. (I was always rather annoyed the John O'Herley version wasn't more successful. Having the audience cast the fifth vote was a stroke of genius.)

They had the audiance vote in the pilot, the nighttime version, the 67-68 daytime, and O'Hurley

Really? I wonder why it wasn't made a permanent fixture of the show? If nothing else it engages the audience -- both studio and home. Also, I wish they had included "One On One" in the O'Hurley version -- that would have been a nice addition.

Ugh, I hate the One On One. It made the normal games speed up, taking the fun and laughs out of them :(

Hey, thanks for the very first classic theme song of TO TELL THE TRUTH (1956-1961). By the way, does anyone have the second claasic theme song which happens to be: To Tell The Truth CBS Theme (1962-1968)? Please do so, and I thank you all so very much once again.
