wow, ridley battle was ridiculously easy...
-
@jkl99jkl you gotta type in justin bailey before you start the game
-
@incubus96 No. The level designs of Super Metroid are completely original. Metroid: Zero Mission is the remake.
-
@jkl99jkl i.e. "Justin Bailey ------ ------" And how the hell did I remember that?!
-
@jkl99jkl Because I entered the password to make it happen before the game starts.

@incubus96 no its not. tourian was remade by space pirates after being destroyed (by samus in the NES game). reason everything looks the same is because it is the same planet for both games, planet zebes.
chronologically according to the backstory of the game events in both the metroid nes game and then the game boy metroid 2 return of samus games precede super metroid's.

So, I've never really understood this. Is Super Metroid a remake of this version? I mean, there's all the same bosses and locations in Super Metroid as there is in this game.

@flyguy773 My Mom is still mad at me for skipping middle school too.....hahahahahaha, memories.

It's funny cuz in all the walkthroughs back then it always directed you to go to Kraid first but it's much easier to just head straight for Ridley and guarantee attainment of the best ending. If you can kill Kraid in one shot it is a big time saver to take him out right after getting the bomb but there's really no need. You can still get the high jump boots go for Ridley then go to Kraid and have plenty of time to see Samus in a Bikini.
I mean, Kraid may be small in the NES version, but the 8-bit Kraid's Lair music is the best Metroid song ever made xD~
