Sundin would never have even considered doing this. He's 10x the player Alfie is. Alfie lost all respect, (from the little that I had of him, after some decent playoff effort) after this. What an ass...I'm glad Mark Bell annihilated him! He's had it coming for a while!

I used to like him as a player. Not anymore. Heat of the moment or not, some moments in life show people's true nature. Plus he didn't have the character to at least fight Niedermayer afterwards. Sorry Ass Loser, that's exactly right I think.

Alfie isn't a cheap player, but that was definitely a cheap play. That's going to be the biggest black spot on his record. You don't shoot a puck at a player! But, heat-of-the-moment type of thing, not like Scotty's never been victim of that. However, no excuse for it. Still bad bad desicion by Alfie.

k one, i admire that u can admit that that was a dirty play, and two, i hate to break it man, he is a dirty player, he just never gets called for it. i respect ur opinion though. i personally dnt like him. and im not a toronto fan either, so exclude that.

Alfredsson is a dirty prick. No wonder we hate him so much in Toronto. Thank God he didn't hoist the Conn Smythe or Stanley Cup...bastard! He should have been suspended and fined for that slapshot. I hate the Sens because of 2 players, Alfredsson and Neil.
