Hey everybody. Just got back into trying muscle-ups. I had to take some time off from trying muscle-ups due to some pain in my biceps, but I recently put these exercises back into my upper body pull training: weighted pull-ups, climbing pull-ups, dynamic pull-ups.

Objective: Perform a Muscle-Up

What is a Muscle-up?
A Muscle-up is a dynamic pull-up performed on rings or a bar where the athlete pulls himself up over the bar and than completes a dip above the bar.

  • Jedd forget dropping 20# unless you want to lean up some. At your weight and getting your chest up to the bar is quite impressive. Keep at it bro and you wil be there in no time.

  • man, u got it. just kick a lil bit harder, and shift ur weight to the front. once u are at the stage u are is a matter of commiting to it.

  • @pupychurupy by kick do you mean the kip up with the knees or actually reaching forward with the feet? Thanks for the tip.

  • Man, you are getting close! Watch out you don't drive your head into the sheetrock covering the bottom of the staircase.

  • kip with all your might and shift your weight forward.

    do like a tricep push down once your up... it will help u get to the dip possition.
