  • A Real DIESEL! I like that! cool vid man

  • @bluegreenfbody Yeah, the diesel gods were happy when the 7.3L was born.

  • @joediesel187 where is your shop located?

  • @bluegreenfbody riverside,ca

  • Great video and description! You should mention that those connectors also melt and that you can replace the connectors by themselves. The 7.3lit best engine International has ever made!

  • @srmastertech thanks, I haven't seen a melted connector in a long time and yes it does happen.

  • @MrDieselOnly

Engineers didn't starting thinking of the technician until the 08 models. It was the technicians input behind the design the change in making the cab easier to remove!

  • @srmastertech You're right, it's a great engine. I've got 260K miles on mine. My only gripe is that the designers at Ford didn't seem to consider the mechanic in the equation when they chose to wrap the engine so tightly in truck.

  • @joediesel I was watching a couple of your videos and noticed one of the vehicles with California plates. Where do you work at? I have a 7.3 that threw a code for an electrical issue with injector 3 and was thinking that it might be a harness connector. Let me know where you're at and i would like to have you take a look...seems like you know powerstrokes

  • hey man you know ford has little black tab you stick behind the under valve cover connector, i remember when i first trouble shot that, i used a pico scope while scopeing the 2 118v supplys, when the connector comes loose you have a square wave (not modulating) because the low side return cant modulate an open wire, i must have done 30 of those clips in the last 5 years

  • @offroadingmachine007 yes indeed.
