No one can say anything bad about Dimitri. He's not only amazing as it is, the guy went thru a traumatic case of cancer in the STOMACH of all places. It's not only a miracle that he's alive today, but that he sounds SO DAMN AMAZING when he sings still.

I saw him in L'Elisir de L'Amour at the Met last year... I think he was standing in for someone who was sick. He was AMAZING! Love him.

Sorry Cleanears, this is one of the better young tenors to come along in a while. His voice is resonant and effortless. A very healthy production.

I've seen him live twice now. Once in the Magic Flute as Tamino and once in a local recital with another soprano. While he doesn't have the earthshaking power of Corelli or Caruso, his diction and phrasing is among the very best I've ever heard from any era. There is no word or note with which he struggles to put together with the next. I wish he recorded more.
