Its durian season now and I have the wackiest idea for skin. I know this sound really ridiculous but after going through some search about durians nutrition and its benefit for skin, I thought that it wouldn't be that bad to make it as a face mask.

Some of us love to eat it but some hate the smell and/or hate the taste. I love it personally. In Malaysia, durian can be around all year round nowadays. So, its not too difficult to get them here. If you like it, just give this a try and if you don't, sorry!

Just a friendly reminder, DO NOT DRINK ANY ALCOHOL BEVERAGE BEFORE OR AFTER EATING DURIAN. There are many reasons behind it. Some say that you can die from it but recently I saw some folks were enjoying their durian and beers. My theory is it could be really heaty for your body and consuming alcohol would make your body system haywire. Anyways, just to be on the safe side, try not to consume any.

  • the smell of durian has been described as anywhere from aged cheese (like brie) to dead fish, to stinky feet, or rotten vegetables.

the flavor is often said to be nutty or custard-like, but most westerners just can't handle it. Often, it's a texture thing. like thick, warm custard, with a pulpiness, from what I've heard.

    i'm terrified to try it.

also: your accent is *adorable*. <3
