The main challenge I find with this piece is avoiding unwanted string-muting; it'll take a while to do the "ironing out" as they say, but very very rewarding.

Whether it's played on guitar, piano, or even synth (which is what I think Nobuo used originally for the game), this song always makes me feel all nostalgic and peaceful. One of the series' best, I think.

Although my first Final Fantasy I played was II/IV on the SNES, for some reason, FFVIII music is the most nostalgic of all the past Final Fantasys I played... Though that could've been contributed to the fact that Final Fantasy IV had been remade/ported to many current generation handhelds. =P I bought Final Fantasy VIII on PSN and now reliving the experience again on my PS3. :)
