North East Tonight (To Gateshead) - 2/7/2005

After several years since its abandonment by Tyne Tees, the famous former base on City Road in Newcastle was finally demolished at the start of 2010. To mark the end of the historic building, a small series here (originally featured on my site TV Whirl) takes a look back at all the bulletins surrounding their last broadcast from the studios and the move to the pokey Gateshead base in 2005.

The final clip, from July 2nd, shows Tyne Tees from their new studios in Gateshead... City Road broadcasts no more!
