  • Wow! Nice Setup. Its Simple, And Looks Awesome. I Wish I Had The Money To Buy This Stuff. But, I Do Have Some Graduation Money, And Im Debating Weather I Should Buy Track IR 5 Or The Saitek Yoke. I Already Have A Saitek X52, But Its Not Really Enjoyable When Flying Commercial Airliners. Which Do You Think I Should Get??? Oh, And, How Much Did Your Setup Cost???

  • @xMaidenSlayerx Ha - thanks. That's even my old setup! I have really kicked it into gear with the 2600k + SSD drive + 3x 22" screens.

My vote - TrackIR. Then get a yoke. I fly with my Saitek Yoke + TPM about 90%. TrackIR 101%.

    Total cost ..let's see. $1500 computer/screen $150 TIR $400 Saitek Boxes $450 yokes + TPM

I suppose $2500 bucks or so.

Check out my new setup on my channel. Good luck and fly well!

  • so the radio will work for all the add ons then?

  • @nigel45212 Hmm, maybe.... :) I will check my levelD 767 and keep you posted.

  • i have flight1 atr, level d 767, quality wings 757, ifly737,madddog md80, im also goin to purchase the pmdg 747 and md11

  • @nigel45212 In that case you will have mixes feelings about the saitek boxes IMHO. The radios control box would give you the most benefit but the switch panel and AP panels would not really do much for you as the control in the plane are vastly different in terms of Mode Control Panel (MCP) versus AP stack found in a GA plane. Two different things. The Saitek boxes lend themselves to GA planes.

  • @flybman2007 hi, do you wear glasses? lol, i really wanna be a pilot and im addicted to fsx hehe,

  • @nigel45212 It depends on the plane. Most of the switches work for GA planes. But it really depends. Not all switches work for every plane, let's put it that way. Controls like the radio panels work well, multi-panel and switch panel do not always do like you would suspect. Give me an example for the plane and I will let you know as I have stacks of planes in my hangar.

  • hi does the saitek radios and multi panel work with payware planes?

  • @flybman2007 okay....thank you!!
