Science Rendezvous UofT May 9 2009 : RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINE

" The Rube Goldberg machine" Built by the volunteers at the sci rendezvous at UofT in the 'science carnival'

Built throughout the day- started from scratch / random materials( ie, Lego, Styrofoam cups, plastic, swimming noodles, marbles, golf balls, hairdryer, much much more and LOTS of TAPE!) and it actually went without flaws on the last run at the end of the day! We didn't really do much 'pre-planing' so it was pretty awesome that it worked even though it took a long time to build and tweak & with very few trials. ( usually these things take many many many days.....)
