  • @FinalFantisiac Yeah I had to do the same thing, which was a bitch to handle during the first playthrough...after beating it I decided not to proceed to Guildestern until I completed the Iron Maiden and acquire Excalibur and the Damascus armor.

  • For the few milliseconds that you have after you acknowledge that he's prepping his ultimate attack, I just kept spamming magic ward (which is so freakin' expensive!) which helped quite a bit.

  • Found a counter for Bloody Sin, it did only like 30 +- damage to me, each hit was like 3,3,5,20,15 something like that. had my Hoplite shield + 3 demonia gems, and Protasia.

  • Fuck this game is a piece of art !!

  • What i did. (was back in 2001-2)

Used a great sword and hit with raging ache plus the attack that deals 10% to you. Also the attack that launches your PP at them, (it hit for like 170 i think) i died once, but after that i won. it was clean, think my chain was 28 or something as allot of attacks missed. like i said this was long ago so i may have made a few buffs or used another weapon but I'm kinda sure that's what i did.

  • @Darksavior65 speak to much

  • I miss this game

  • I kicked this guy ass easy with a long range weapon, i used crossbow.

  • I remember using exclusively reflect damage on Bloody Sin as the main tactic to beat this boss. Didn't even bother chasing him around. And I think I had 100 Risk all the time (and if I remember correctly, you can use this for attack or something).

    Cheers,

  • I beat this boss last night on my PSP. Crossbow all the way, alternating Raging Ache and Heavy Shot. Believe it or not I was never really fond of Break Arts because of the (somewhat) low hit chance. Just chains upon chains, and reflecting his magic damage.

Only thing that really caused me issues were a few scrapes with Apocalypse and Bloody Sin - the latter countered decently enough with a shield buffed with prostasia and dark resistance.

One of the most satisfying games I've ever beaten.
