  • Can I use a cap barbell/curl bar to do this exercise instead of a regular barbell? If not, what is the difference? Will I get the same results?

  • @tsaelee91 Not sure what a cap barbell is, but if you are referring to the shorter light weight bars which some come fixed with weight and others are just lighter bars, you can use those bars especially for beginners and if you are just causally trying to get fit (only for light weight as they are not safe with heavier weight). The regular barbell weighs 45lbs and you will need to use that for heavy weight if you are looking to get bigger (stronger) and more sculpted. NEVER use a curl bar!

  • @honeyrain Well the barbell weighs 45lbs. For beginners always practice your form first with the bar for squats. Make sure you follow the form I mention in video!!! You should not stay at a fixed weight! Increase the weight for each set (4-8 reps). You should move through 5 different weighted sets were the last set is heavy (3-5 reps). I will post a video in the next few days describing the workout regiment! Same goes for Reg Dead Lift & Romanian. Stiff leg use 10lbs or more, but light.
