  • I'm going to be in this band :)

    2009 CBDA, BASS CLARINET

    I'm in 7th grade

  • Well, not exactly this particular group. This is the high school Wind Symphony.

  • Oh I C.. RHSVanguard2010, u must be really good :)

I heard in high school, it's really hard to get into this all-state band

what grade r u in anyway?

  • Actually, I'm Mom. My daughter is a junior this year. I guess it has been so hard to get in at the high school level (i.e., they have had to turn away so many good players), another group (CBDA/CMEA high school honor band) has been added. One group (CBDA high school honor band) continues to perform in Feb. in Fresno; the other performs in Ontario (Southern Cal) in March.

  • lol i remember when during rehearsal, the percussion section didn't have their special instruments in yankee doodlin and when mr. camphouse cued them, someone tried to do an imitation

And to whoever posted this video...how come variations on america is not on any of them?

  • I don't have an easy way to upload video, so I've added pieces in the order of my favorites. The encore piece went up just a few weeks ago.

first part clarinet and second, third clarinet part is so cool :)

  • doodlin' isnt that hard for percussion.

just takes a good set up. and good counting i guess.

  • ha that's me back there playing the tambourine. This was such a fun song to play! A challenge for the percussion section. Mr. Camphouse was such a good conductor too. A great experience overall.
