This is the video slideshow we played at my mom's recent retirement celebration. My mom worked 41 years for "Ma Bell". Starting in 1969 with Pacific Telephone and Telegraph, it can be said that she circled the globe from PT&T to AT&T. My mom rasied my sister and I alone after my dad died. She was very conscious of being able to provide support for "her girls" so she stayed at the company. But "now her ship has finally come in" and it's time for her to ENJOY! She has big plans to enjoy her retirment by doing a makeover on her house, traveling and being more involved at her church and in the community. My mom picked all of the pictures for the video. She stayed for her family but she also developed some really great friendships while there. She left with a legacy of excellence that is hard to duplicate. My sister and I are both grateful that she still has both her health and her youth to enjoy the next 41 years!
