I'm an adult, 41 yrs old, struggled w school all of my life. Adderall was prescribed to me when I was evaluated at 40 when I attempted to give college a shot. My struggled at first, bit once prescribed adderall my academic and life in general changed. I am now on my way to a BSN in nursing and I am tutoring science at school. I'm glad you've had a good outcome. I know some folks that swear by it. I guess if you're an adult and can handle the emotional side effects of the drug, it's fine. But, to aggressively prescribe such a dangerous drug routinely to children not so equipped is simply a bad practice, even dangerous.

I completely agree with basically everything you're saying about how over prescribed it is, and how kids are designed to run and jump and be active... but don't say "the so-called scientists that created these drugs don't know how the drugs work" because it makes you sound like an ignorant georgia hick.

Adderall was around back then. Amphetamines where all around back then.

If you where a fatass back when you where young, the doctors would give you amphetamines. If you found a drug dealer that sells amphetamines, then that would be the same exact thing as adderall.

Using adderall (dextroamphetamine and amphetamine) to focus and learn is no different then using street cooked methamphetamine or amphetamine sulfate to focus and learn.

Its fucking amazing. You feel like you can (and you do) get everything you need to get done in one sitting. The crash however is so awful and bad the only way to describe it is utter despair to its fullest meaning.

Im prescribed to take 20 mg everyday but i dont and usually save them for recreational use, but only if i have alot of weed for the comedown
