What a beautiful version of this song. I remember when Relish came out and got it on cassette.Went to the store the other day and they had a used CD of it for 99 cents. Needless to say I snapped it up. Hands down the best song on that album...haunting and beautiful.
Nice to see it interpreted w/some great Celtic musicians. Agree...criminally underappreciated artist.

Such a dark, yet weet song. When Relish came out I couldn't get it out of my head. Still can't. As another poster mentioned, Joan Osborne is criminally underappeciated. I would add that her later efforts went largely ignored and were just as good. Not a hit from the CD, but it doesn't matter. There are those that obviously love her.
