Such a mixture of influences, JLH being the main one "One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer", but he's also got some SJEstes going on, "I was worried for you, worried for me..." Just saw another video of JLH and Ry playing together. The cat on the album cover certainly looks like JLH.

Nope, it's Jon Hassell.
Also, I managed to get me a fourth-row ticket to a Ry Cooder concert in June. Nick Lowe, Joachim Cooder, Juliette Commagere and Flaco Jiménez will be there as well. I can't wait. :)
