God of War: swimming at Challenge of Poseidon part 1.

Swimming at Challenge of Poseidon? Doesn't sound very surprising, but the swimming here is slightly different than what the game developers intented...

The first part of the video shows breach in the wall from which you can bypass potentially several segments in this area. Unfortunately the camera angles are a murder... I got lost and accidentally came back inside, so I quit this time, but hopefully this can be explored more in the future. It's useful at least for skipping the Poseidon-embroidered door. This trick was found by manwa/euqinunique.

The following parts of the video show some wonderous sights of CoP while swimming. Also pointing out how it's impossible to leave the middle section while swimming because of how the place is built.

I feel REALLY sure I saw at one point years ago a way, during the Ares fight, to get to the other side of the bridge/arena border and smack him around from safety. Reading through your glitch guide it talks about doing a high jump, but when I do it, a "high jump" only keeps me in the air, I don't go higher. Then I read about the swimming glitch. Your guide talks all about the pros and cons, but FORGETS TO SAY HOW TO DO IT! Then here, you're mostly off screen when you do it. How do you do it???!?

Especially in God of War I, there is no one single way to do swimming glitch since the locations where you can do it vary so much. In this vid, I just swim out of the corridor through a small hole in the ceiling.

In Ares fight, the walls aren't too high, and you can get over them with a high jump... sorry if the guide isn't clear on this subject. Try this: Blade of Artemis air s,s,o, then cast Poseidon's Rage, then repeat BoA air s,s,o. You get slightly higher each time.

do you know the part euhm. when you need to dive and there are some big black things riding just when you see a statue of poseidon looking down

and how can i beat this? i tried it 10 times

You must use the swim dash (with R1) to be speedy and wait in deeper areas below for the big black things to pass.

@AKheon lol, cheesy, the part before Poseidon's mouth when you glitch there, there should be a weirdish white dot, go to it then back off really fast, if done right, you'll swim in the place with Trident of Poseidon and or the place with the lever to open the gate inwater.
