Snowboard Kids 2 Game Sample - N64

Snowboard Kids 2 is the second/other Snowboard Kids game for the N64 and the third game overall, released shortly after the Japan-only Snobow Kids Plus (which from my understanding left mixed vibes) for Playstation but before the fourth, SBK DS. It's a truly great and fun game and surpasses the already good SBK in so many ways that it's hard to believe the game can be improved so much.

The game is even more imaginative than before with cool new power-ups and the tracks look beautiful for an N64 game like this. You can pull off more tricks, play more types of games, and also fight tough bosses, not to mention change the characters clothes (like the Playstation game). The game has a story. While it's not illustrated with cartoony stills like the Playstation game, it's effective enough to deliver its message. The music is almost or just as good as the original SBK and I'm glad the game was released outside Japan. The game is somewhat uncommon for an N64 title and I haven't checked recently to see if it costs a fair penny or not, but this is one of the great N64 titles that really belongs in any collection IMO, even if you aren't a fan of these kinds of games. I did some of the voices for this game seems like a LIFETIME ago! - so cool to see someone uploaded. You can hear me saying "Linda" at about 1:08 (I think I recall recording ALL the names) - the "laugh" at 2:20 - "Ready Go!" at 2:33 or so - "Good" "Fine" "Nice" etc. here and there (beginning at 2:55 or so) -

if I wanted to put a new character to SBK, i'd do so and my fan char is 11-year-old Jonah "Stryker" Dimaggio hailing from the UK who is part of a snowboarding club named the timberwolves, his appearence consists of spiky blond hair like johnny tests hair, a black jacket with an eagle emblem at the back of his jacket, blue pants and black boots, he'd be a pretty cool newcomer!

SBK 1 and 2 were pretty cool. I wish Atlus would make a classic style SBK game and bring all the characters from 1, plus, and 2(excluding the dog) as well as new ones, set the courses to a less wacky theme and include snow, grass and sand as terrains, voice acting, custom or licensed soundtracks, challenge mode, replays and an online mode, that would sell mollions of copies!

Hopefully Atlus realizes what went wrong with the DS one and makes a SBK game on the 3DS with the charm of the first two. My gosh, my fav items were the balloons and the frying pan.
