excellent.....what did she bloody say in all those 60+ mins, apart from clusters of adjectives , that balistics took over , that the techniques were advanced but later on forgoten, that it is important to preserve them etc...........in a word : NOTHING

I'm glad to see a reviving interest and I hope it continues to flourish. This is not a matter of "it looks cool", it is an important part of European heritage and should be preserved.

extremely relevant docu to all who may be interested in european martial arts, its great to hear that there are others who r keen to keep these skills alive

And this is where the Asian martial arts have it all over Europe. Forget questions of samurai vs. knight or kung-fu vs. man-at-arms, the important fact is that many cultures of Asia kept their martial arts alive, while Europe did not.
It's good to see the European arts being revived.
