It's not one of a kind. All lyre birds do it - and many in close proximity to cities pick up city sounds.

@noteatpig2getha Right at the end the presenter says "...chook is certainly one of a kind". But any lyrebird picks up those sort of sounds if they live close to a city. But perhaps I shouldn't nitpick the pointless little wrap up comment presenters often use.

@itsStruth - Fair enough - I think it's pretty sad when wild lyrebirds are mimicking chain saws and trees falling as their habitats disappear.
