Ha! That is what you did! I just tested it. It sounds exactly like this if you plug it in partially. Nice job recording it though.

I'm going to assume that these were achieved by plugging in the headphone/audio jack partially, which can sometimes make songs sound instrumental if you get it just right. It's like the people on here are so amazed that you were able to "find" this. Silly people. You can still hear him singing. Not saying this doesn't sound fabulous.

That's amazing!!! How did you split that out, anyway!!! Just another way to fall in love all over again!

There are so many layers to a song. Makes you realize it's not as easy as it looks and it's more than just good voice. He's so musically talented, on all levels.
Thanks for sharing these.

how did you get this??? Now I want to hear every song he's done with harmony.

Why can't I download it using youtube downloader?

This harmony is absolutely beautiful.
David's vocal range is even more astonishing when one can really hear his harmonies. Low harmony, high harmony, very high harmony ... and it's all so beautiful. And perhaps most notable, no one writes the harmony. Rob Cavallo said that was one of the most remarkable things about David. He just feels the harmony and can sing it to any of his songs. On Lie, his harmony is so beautiful and complete, it could almost be the melody for a new song.
