Demon's Platinum Quest Part 130 NG+++ (The End of Demon's Souls Platinum Quest: Part 2)

This is the second part of The End of Demon's Souls Platinum Quest! After beating Maiden Astraea for the fourth time, I get the trophy. Words can not express how happy I am right now.

Thank you PenutPizza and Joesph53 for showing up to the live show. It was so much fun!!!!!!! I wasn't as sad as I thought it would be. Maybe because I am still in shock that I got it!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!

Platinum Stats: 260 soul level, Fourth Playthrough, 189:05 hours of gameplay, Magic Build (75 level Magician), No cheats, One profile(Beastie Beatnik). Attained all spells, weapons, and miracles required for platinum status. Everything has been recorded here for TBR (the beatnik report).

I updated the playlist so you can watch this platinum quest from the very beginning to end. The contrast in stats are definitely worth seeing from the beginning to ng+++.

congrats! I'm very close to platinum on Dark Souls. Haven't played Demon's Souls, but I'm intrigued. I hear its harder. Is that true? I hope so.

@recontranaso thanks :), dark souls is very hard. Definitely hard than demon's souls in my opinion.

@recontranaso If you're playing Dark Souls and haven't played Demon's souls.......you need to play Demon's souls. It's the first, one and only. It's a matter of opinion which is harder. Dark souls has more "artifical" difficulty (just making things hard for the sake of being hard, but alot of it has been patched to be easier now) Demon's souls is hard in the means of having to beat everything with using your brain and reflexes. The online is better on demon's souls too

@kalloused I agree with you, 100 percent! DKS definitely has more of an artificial difficulty. I really don't like that game. I thought it was going to be just like demon's souls but with a different story and some variations in gameplay. It seems like they took a step sideways instead of forward. It was fun to play demon's souls despite difficulty. DKS is not fun at all just hard. I'm pushing myself to beat the game because I don't want to quit with so much time I put in already.

It's not about the trophies it's about the journey, but I guess since it means nothing to you then obviously it would be gimmicky to someone else. Since your viewpoint is the only way to see an achievement an opposition is a bad, right? I should feel bad, but I don't. ;) Thanks for leaving the comment. I appreciate it. @beatnikreport If it's not fun you should just stop, trophies and whatnot aren't that important, I think anyway.

@beatnikreport I don't mind Dark Souls, i'm quite enjoying it but it doesn't touch Demon's Souls. I don't like just being mobbed by 10 enemies to kill me, that isn't in the spirit of the game. I love the open world in Dark Souls though. But doing shit like estus flasks and not being able to pick up more from drops and no magic power is just non-fun difficulty. The online fucking sucks for the most part too. How do you NOT have dedicated servers in this game!? DeS co-op was perfect

@recontranaso dark souls is harder. but some of the demons souls bosses are much harder than any dark souls boss

@recontranaso 4 Kings is the only boss that makes it harder than Demon's Souls, but Demon's Souls is the superior game in story Dark Souls I give everything else.

@michaelbryant21 Thanks for the reply. I have to agree with you. I bought Demon's Souls a few days ago and beat it pretty quickly (no magic and using leather armor the entire game). My favorite fight was the false king.

It was a fantastic game, just not as good as Dark Souls by far. Looking forward to the third installment . . .

@recontranaso dark souls is harder and better in pretty much every way which you really cant say about many sequels.

especially since there's hardly any story line connecting these i wouldn't even bother playing demons souls unless you really want to but its generally less of an experience all around than dark souls.
