@taggartjs Just got a new kitten (well, he is actually about 3 months) and Saffron has taught him the rules of the house already....meaning anything the kitty is playing with she will walk up and take away.

@msmp90 Sorry to hear. I lost my Dante last year. I have a tribute video up for him too.

But I must confess that in the loss of Dante, I was able to rescue Oscar from death row at the pound and so at least something good came out of it (and Oscar is just an awesome basset too)

ah, this is one of the best i have seen! You have perfectly explained the non sharing attitude of basset hounds. If it even looks like something they want, they get it. If they are not interested in it and YOU act interested in it, all of a sudden it's the only thing in the world they want. BRAVO! and thanks for posting!
