Impeach Cheney First - Bill Oliver @ Million Musician March

In Austin, Texas - "Live music capital of the world", anti-war organization Instruments for Peace staged the 2007 "Million Musician March" from the State Capitol building to the city hall. There, on the city hall's outdoor stage, Austin musicians performed for the demonstrators. This is "Environmental Troubadour" Bill Oliver's contribution. He is helped by Paul Pearcy on marching tom tom, Richard Bowden on fiddle, Oliver Steck on trumpet, Guy Forsyth and Dick Cheney on the chain gang.

i was there for saturday's march, and wonder why the hell instruments for change doesn't reach out to the hundreds of thousands of SXSW participants and actually have a noteworthy march that is covered by the press because of the size of the movement. it was truly disappointing to have it be a couple hundred locals. The peace movement is totally weak without coalition building

I agree, skinnychef. It would have been great to have all the visiting musicians join us in the march. Do you know how to get the word out to all attendees of sxsw? If so, why not help out next year, do what it takes to get everyone involved and maybe your dream will come true.
