Sleeping Beauty - Aurora's Nightmare

Here is a Sleeping Beauty music video to the song Nightmare from the opening titles of Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.

In this video, a year or so has passed since Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip got married. As Aurora sleeps, she starts to have a dream which soon turns into a nightmare.

In the dream, Aurora starts to follow a glowing orb through the fireplace and up the stairway to the top of the tower just like she did before. As she get to the top, instead of the orb turning into a spinning wheel, it creates a flash of light and Maleficent appears. Maleficent gives off an evil smile as Aurora stares at her in fear and then finally wakes up.

Fun Fact: When this appeared in theaters, all the parents had to escort their kids out because the scene with maleficent in the fireplace scared the shit out of the kids.

I read about it somewhere, but I can't find the place where I read it. Hand to God, though, true story.

They definatly should but should keep it on the same level as the first one was but possibly a little bit darker.

I was 6 years old when I first saw this movie- and the part where it showed Maleficent's eyes glowing in the dark TRAUMATIZED me. lol. I will never forget that and it still freaks me out now! lol

@MrTwentington they already made a sequel and it was terrible. disney basically ran out of ideas and are down to just making bad sequel's to good classics.

You know there is some potential for a sequel actually, the original fairy tale does come in two parts, the first about the curse to fall asleep and the other about the ogress mother in law who tries to kill sleeping beauty and her children. With a few tweaks I think you could have something like Maleficent returning in a similar role.
